Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it's Super Me!

This BRAND-NEW DRAWING competition will give your pupils the power of creativity. They can draw themselves as a superhero, create a new animal, human, robot or alien hero, or draw an everyday hero such as a nurse, police officer or firefighter.

They can really let their imaginations fly as they design costumes and think up amazing superpowers. You can even combine art and literacy by encouraging your pupils to add labels or a short description to their pictures.

Pictures chosen for publication will be published in a full-colour book, so get out the colouring pencils and pens for a colour explosion. We know seeing their work in print is a fantastic motivator for pupils, and they'll love the prizes too! You could win an incredible £1000 for your school, and the top 5 artists will win a creative goody bag.

Only one entry per pupil.
There is no limit to the number of entries per school. Teachers please submit your entries together where possible!
Ask your pupils to draw on the entry form. It must fit in the space provided.
Ensure their name, age and school name are included.
UK entrants only.
Free to enter.
Ideal for 4-7 year-olds, but pupils outside that age range are welcome to enter.
Copyright remains with the artist.

The school that submits the best overall set of entries will win £1,000 and Young Writers' Award of Excellence.

PLUS every participating school receives a free copy of the book their pupils feature in!

(Remember, you receive 1 free copy for every 30 entries you submit! E.g. 1-30 entries you receive 1 copy, 31-60 entries you receive 2 copies, etc)

One drawing from each book will be picked as a finalist and their picture will feature on the front cover. From these finalists, 5 artists will be chosen to win a creative goody bag!
